Biography
Tyler Holmes is a writer, director and producer from Prince George’s County, Maryland. He began his career as a news producer at CNN in New York before earning a master’s degree from the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California.
His short films include Cut (2018), Crybaby (2021) and Triggerman (2022), which have screened at Academy Award-qualifying festivals such as LA Shorts and Holly Shorts. Holmes worked as assistant to David S. Goyer on the Apple TV+ series Foundation (2021–), later becoming co-producer and co-writer of the 2025 episode “Skin in the Game”.
