Biography
Tyria Moore is an American woman born on 3 August 1962 in Tampa, Florida. She is known for her relationship with Aileen Wuornos, whom she met in June 1986 at a gay bar in Daytona Beach, Florida. At the time, Moore worked as a motel maid.
Moore appeared as herself in the 1992 documentary Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer, in which she discussed her relationship with Wuornos and her cooperation with investigators. She also features in archive footage in the 2003 documentary Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer. Moore testified at Wuornos's 1992 trial after receiving immunity from prosecution.
