Biography
Ursula Reit, also credited as Ulla Reit or Ursula Reith, was a German actress. Born Ursula Schedereit on 5 March 1914 in Wuppertal, she died on 9 November 1998 in Germany. She is best known for playing Mrs. Gloop in the film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971).
Reit appeared primarily in German television productions between 1962 and 1995, with additional film roles and work in theatre. She was the sister of actor Karl Schedereit. Other credits include the role of Nun Anna in She Devils of the SS (1973).
