Biography
Valerie Chu is a television writer and former production staff member. She began her career in the production department on Nashville (2012), working as production staff on two episodes in 2014–2015, before receiving a writing credit on the series in 2016.
Her subsequent writing credits include an episode of Queen Sugar (2017), staff writer on three episodes of Tracker (2024), and multiple episodes of The Pitt (2025–2026), where she has served as story editor and executive story editor. She previously worked as a writers' assistant on Better Call Saul (2020–2022). Chu has received Emmy nominations and other awards recognition for her work.
