Biography
Valerie Gaunt was a British actress. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1951, and subsequently appeared in repertory theatre and on television, including an episode of Dixon of Dock Green.
She is known for two Hammer horror films: as Justine in The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) and as the Vampire Woman in Dracula (1958). Gaunt retired from acting after marrying stockbroker Gerald Alfred Reddington in 1958. She died on 27 November 2016 on the Isle of Wight.
