Biography
Van Broughton Ramsey is a costume designer whose screen credits include the feature film All Is Lost (2013). He has also worked on television projects such as the miniseries Lonesome Dove (1989) and Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All (1994), the series Comanche Moon (2008), and the film A Night in Old Mexico (2013).
Ramsey has received two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Costume Design for a Miniseries or a Special, for Lonesome Dove in 1989 and Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All in 1994, along with several further nominations. His archive of design materials, spanning 1980–2014, is held by Texas State University.
