Biography
Vanessa Emme is an Irish stage and television actress. She trained at The Lir Academy in Dublin, graduating with a Bachelor in Acting in 2014, and has been active since 2010. She is of Filipino descent through her mother.
Emme is known for her television roles, including DS Layla Walsh in the British police drama The Chelsea Detective (2023–present), Abby Stone in Dublin Murders (2019), Leah Hardy in Bloodlands (2021), Rachel Donleavy in Three Families (2021), and appearances in A Discovery of Witches (2022) and Midsomer Murders. She has also worked in film and provided a voice role in the animated feature A Greyhound of a Girl.
