Biography
Vanessa Larré is a Swiss actress and theatre director. She was born in Geneva in 1970 and trained at the Conservatoire de Genève before entering the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris in 1993.
She made her screen debut in the mid-1990s and is known for her roles as Hélène in Chantal Akerman's La Captive (2000) and as la prédatrice in Costa-Gavras's Le Couperet (2005). Larré has appeared in numerous French television series and films, and has directed stage productions including works by Franz Xaver Kroetz and an adaptation of Virginie Despentes's King Kong Théorie.
