Biography
Vanna Urbino was an Italian actress. She was born on 18 March 1929 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy, and died on 2 February 2023 in Saint-Mandé, Val-de-Marne, France.
She appeared in several French films from the late 1940s onwards, often in small or uncredited roles. These included On ne triche pas avec la vie (1949), Les maîtres-nageurs (1951), Royal Affairs in Versailles (1954, as Vana Urbino), Ce soir les jupons volent... (1956) and La chatte (1958, as Wanna Urbino). Her credited role as Gilberte in François Truffaut's Jules and Jim (1962) was her most prominent. She later appeared in one episode of the television series Caméra une première in 1981 (as Vana Urbino).
