Biography
Víctor Miguel Prieto Simental, also credited as Victor Prieto Simental, is a Mexican actor. Born on 15 August 2001 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, he trained as an electromechanical engineer and worked on industrial and residential projects before entering acting.
He made his screen debut in the lead role of Veneno in David Pablos’s En el camino (also known as On the Road, 2025). The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Horizons section’s main prize and the Queer Lion. Prieto received a nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance at the Ariel Awards.
He is also attached to the forthcoming film Verano (2027).
