Biography
Vince Colosimo is an Australian actor known for work in theatre, television and film. Born Vincenzo Colosimo on 11 November 1966 in Melbourne, he is of Italian descent. He made his screen debut in the feature film Moving Out (1983) and appeared in Street Hero (1984). He trained at the Victorian College of the Arts.
Colosimo gained wider recognition for his role as Neville Bartos in Chopper (2000). In Lantana (2001) he played Nick and received the AFI Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Other film credits include The Wog Boy (2000), Walking on Water (2002), Body of Lies (2008), Daybreakers (2010) and The Great Gatsby (2013). He has also appeared in television series such as The Practice (1997) and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (2012).
Colosimo has performed extensively on stage with companies including the Melbourne Theatre Company and has worked in both Australia and the United States.
