Biography
Vincenzo Licata was an Italian actor and poet. He appeared in Seduced and Abandoned (1964), directed by Pietro Germi and filmed in his home town of Sciacca, as Pasquale Profumo, and in Christ Stopped at Eboli (1979), directed by Francesco Rosi, as L'Italo-Americano.
Licata was born in Sciacca, Sicily, on 21 June 1906 and died there on 26 January 1996. He published several collections of poetry in Sicilian dialect and wrote lyrics for a song featured in the soundtrack of Seduced and Abandoned.
