Biography
Vladimir Chuprikov (1964–2020) was a Russian actor. He graduated from the Lunacharsky State Institute of Theatrical Arts (GITIS) in 1988 and later from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in 2017. His stage career included work at the Central Children's Theatre (now RAMT) from 1988 to 2000, the Moscow Class Theatre from 2005, the Turandot Theatre from 2010, and the Moscow Jewish Theatre Shalom and Perovskaya Theatre from 2016. He also taught acting and directing at VGIK from 2010 to 2014.
Chuprikov appeared in more than 250 films and television productions. He was frequently cast as Nikita Khrushchev, including in Gagarin: First in Space (2013) and The Courier (2020). Other credits include Admiral (2008), Lev Yashin. The Dream Goalkeeper (2019) and Zhuki (2019).
