Biography
W. A. Burton was a British writer and scenario editor active in the silent film era. He contributed the scenario for the Indo-German production A Throw of Dice (1929), directed by Franz Osten and based on a story by Niranjan Pal.
Burton worked in Hollywood in the mid-1920s before returning to Britain, where he served as scenario editor for British Instructional Films. He is also credited with the screenplay for Shiraz (1928).
