Biography
W. F. Smith Leithart is a composer working in film, television and video games. He studied at Samford University in Alabama, where he composed music for planetarium shows and concert works, and began scoring short films and independent features.
His credits as composer include the short films Unorthodox (2018), Diminished (2022) and Star Spangled Galaxy (2023), and the features Dinner to Die For (2025) and The Girl in the River (2026), the latter co-composed with Max Aruj. He has also contributed additional music and arrangements to larger productions including Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (2025) and the series Man on Fire (2026).
