Biography
Warren Finnerty (9 April 1925 – 22 December 1974) was an American actor. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and died in New York City.
Finnerty received an Obie Award for Best Actor for his performance as Leach in the stage production of The Connection (1959) at the Living Theatre, which he reprised in the 1961 film adaptation. His other film roles include Savarese in The Pawnbroker (1965), Tattoo in Cool Hand Luke (1967), the Rancher in Easy Rider (1969), Sammy in The Panic in Needle Park (1971), and Sanders in Cockfighter (1974). He also appeared in television series such as Bonanza and Banacek.
