Biography
Wayne Young is an Australian film producer. He produced the animated feature FernGully: The Last Rainforest (1992), which he developed with his then wife Diana Young, whose children's stories provided the inspiration. The project originated in Byron Bay, Australia, and took over a decade to reach the screen.
Young had earlier produced the Australian hit Crocodile Dundee (1986). He is also credited as producer on the documentary The War on Democracy (2007). His work has often focused on environmental themes.
