Biography
Wendy Mericle is an American television writer and producer. She is known for her work on the ABC dramedy Desperate Housewives and the CW superhero series Arrow.
Her career began with assistant roles on series including Grosse Pointe and Beverly Hills, 90210. She moved into writing on Everwood, where she first collaborated with creator Greg Berlanti, and contributed episodes to Jack & Bobby, Smallville (including the 2006 episode 'Fanatic'), Ghost Whisperer, Eli Stone and Eastwick.
Mericle joined Desperate Housewives as a writer and executive story editor for its final season. She later became a writer and producer on Arrow (2012–2018), rising to executive producer, and has written for Vixen, Big Shot and Willow (2022).
