Biography
Will Rogers (1879–1935) was an American actor, humorist and performer. He appeared as Judge William Pitman 'Billy' Priest in the 1934 film Judge Priest, directed by John Ford.
Rogers began his career in Wild West shows and vaudeville before joining the Ziegfeld Follies. He went on to make numerous films for Fox, including Steamboat Round the Bend (1935), and wrote syndicated newspaper columns. He died in a plane crash near Point Barrow, Alaska, alongside aviator Wiley Post.
