Biography
William Aldrich was an American film producer and occasional actor. The son of director Robert Aldrich, he began his career with small acting roles in his father's films, including as the Lunch Counter Assistant at Beach in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962).
He later worked as assistant to the producer and associate producer on several Robert Aldrich productions. His producing credits include Hustle (1975), Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? (1978), ...All the Marbles (1981), The Sheltering Sky (1990) as executive producer, and the 2004 remake Flight of the Phoenix.
Aldrich also executive produced the 1991 television remake of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?. He died in Los Angeles in 2006.
