Biography
William Reynolds (born William de Clerq Reynolds, also credited as William de Clercq Reynolds) was an American actor. He appeared in films from the early 1950s, including Carrie (1952), All That Heaven Allows (1955) as Ned Scott, and There's Always Tomorrow (1956). He attended Pasadena City College and signed with Universal Studios in 1952.
Reynolds moved to television in the late 1950s. He starred in the short-lived series Pete Kelly's Blues (1959), The Islanders (1960–1961) and The Gallant Men (1962–1963). His longest-running role was as Special Agent Tom Colby on The F.B.I. (1967–1973). He also appeared in episodes of The Twilight Zone (1960) and other series. After leaving acting, he worked as a businessman. He died in 2022.
