Biography
Willie Watson is an American actor and musician. Born on 23 September 1979 in Watkins Glen, New York, he is a founding member of the bluegrass and old-time band Old Crow Medicine Show.
Watson made his film acting debut as The Kid in the Coen brothers' anthology The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018), also performing the song "When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings" on the soundtrack. He later appeared as John Altman in Redeeming Love (2022). He has contributed to soundtracks for other Coen brothers films, including Hail, Caesar! (2016) and Live by Night (2016).
