Biography
Wilson Tong Wai-Shing is a Hong Kong actor, director and action choreographer. He has also been credited as Tang Wei-Cheng, Tang Wei-Shang, Tong San and the Foot Doctor. He began appearing in films in the late 1960s and worked extensively in martial arts cinema through the 1970s and 1980s.
His best-known acting role is Lord Tang San-yao in The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978). He appeared in numerous other Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest productions, including Dirty Ho (1979) as Mr Chu Yi Feng, Clan of the White Lotus (1980) as Priest White Brow and Duel to the Death (1983). He has also worked as a stunt performer and action director.
Tong directed several films, among them A Bloody Fight (1988). His later credits include supporting roles in Treasure Inn (2011) and Naked Soldier (2012).
