Biography
Ximena Amann is a Mexican cinematographer. She studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas at UNAM and has collaborated with directors Astrid Rondero and Fernanda Valadez since film school.
Her credits include Sujo (2024) and On the Road (2025), the latter directed by David Pablos. She has also worked on television series such as Demon (2020) and The Head of Joaquín Murrieta (2023), as well as earlier short films which she directed.
Amann won the Feature Film Competition Award for Best Cinematography at the Morelia International Film Festival for On the Road. She received Ariel Award nominations for Best Cinematography for both On the Road and Sujo.
