Biography
Yang Chi-Ching (also credited as Yang Chih-Ching, Yeung Chi-Hing and similar variants) was a Chinese actor born on 11 February 1919 in Longping, Hebei Province. He made his film debut in 1941 in Shanghai and later joined Cathay Film Company before settling in Hong Kong in 1951.
He joined Shaw Brothers and appeared in more than 100 films over three decades. His roles include Abbot Liao Kung in Come Drink with Me (1966), Long-Armed Devil in The One-Armed Swordsman (1967), Poison Dragon Wang Xiong in Golden Swallow (1968), and Chief Yang in Disciples of the 36th Chamber (1985). He also worked as an assistant director on several productions.
Yang died on 30 April 1984 in Hong Kong. His wife, Chan Wan Wa (also known as Chen Yun Hua), was an actress.
