Biography
Yang Wei-han, also credited as Wei-han Yang, is a Taiwanese cinematographer. He graduated from Shih Hsin University and worked for the Central Motion Picture Corporation Studios. He has served as a judge for the Golden Horse Awards.
He is known for his work as director of photography on Edward Yang’s Taipei Story (1985) and Yi Yi (2000). In 1985 he shared the Best Cinematography award at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival for Run Away. He has received several Golden Horse Award nominations for best cinematography, including for Taipei Story (1985), Hill of No Return (1992), The Moon Also Rises (2005) and The Most Distant Course (2007).
