Biography
Yoram Hattab is an Israeli actor working in theatre, film and television. He was born on 13 August 1966 in Jerusalem and trained at the Yoram Loewenstein Studio and the Beit Zvi School of Stage Arts. He began his professional career in 1992 at the Be'er Sheva Theatre.
Hattab is known for his role as The Pilot in Amos Gitai’s Kippur (2000). Other film credits include Circus Palestina (1998), Kadosh (1999), Vulcan Junction (1999) and Nina’s Tragedies (2003). He has appeared in numerous Israeli television series and has performed on stages across the country.
He has received the Ophir Award for Best Actor, the Israel Theater Prize for Best Actor and the Rosenblum Prize for the Performing Arts. Hattab served for nine years as chairman of Shaham, the Israeli Actors’ Guild.
