Biography
Yoshio Ueno is a Japanese costume designer and wardrobe department member who worked extensively in Japanese cinema from the 1950s to the 1970s. He received credit as costume designer on An Actor's Revenge (1963), directed by Kon Ichikawa. Other credits include costume supervisor on Onibaba (1964), costume consultant on Kwaidan (1964), and costume design on Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx (1972), Zatoichi Goes to the Fire Festival (1970), Tenchu! (1969), The Woman in the Rumor (1954) and The Key (1959).
