Biography
Yoshitami Kuroiwa was a Japanese film editor who worked primarily at Toho. He edited more than 100 films, including several entries in the Godzilla series and numerous productions directed by Kihachi Okamoto.
His credits include Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971), Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975), The Return of Godzilla (1984), The Sword of Doom (1966), Kill! (1968) and Samurai Assassin (1965). He also edited The Rickshaw Man (1958), for which director Hiroshi Inagaki received the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
Kuroiwa was born on 15 November 1931 and died on 12 December 2012.
