Biography
Yumiko Shaku (釈由美子, Shaku Yumiko) is a Japanese actress and model. She was born on 12 June 1978 in Kiyose, Tokyo.
She began her career as a gravure idol and model before moving into acting. Shaku is represented by Tommy's Artist Company and has appeared in numerous films and television series since the late 1990s.
She is known for her lead role as Akane Yashiro in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (2002) and its sequel Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003). Other notable credits include the lead in The Princess Blade (2001) and a role in Sky High (2003).
