Biography

Yura Borisov is a Russian actor. He graduated from the Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School in 2013 and made his screen debut in Andrey Zvyagintsev's Elena (2011).

Borisov has appeared in The Bull (2019), Kalashnikov (2020), for which he won a Golden Eagle Award, Compartment No. 6 (2021) and Captain Volkonogov Escaped (2021). He played Igor in Sean Baker's Anora (2024) and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
