Biography
Yves Barsacq (1931–2015) was a French actor who appeared in more than 150 films and television productions between 1957 and 2013. He was the son of production designer Léon Barsacq and the nephew of theatre director André Barsacq.
Barsacq played supporting roles in films including PlayTime (1967), The Longest Day (1962) and Love and Death (1975). He was also known for voice work, voicing Om in Fantastic Planet (1973), characters in the Asterix films and Dupont in The Adventures of Tintin (1991).
