Biography
Zach Roerig is an American actor. He was born in Montpelier, Ohio, and attended the Barbizon Modeling and Acting School in Cleveland before moving to New York City to pursue acting after high school.
Roerig began his career with roles on daytime soaps, playing Casey Hughes on As the World Turns (2005–2007) and Hunter Atwood on One Life to Live (2007). He later appeared as Cash on Friday Night Lights (2008–2009).
He is best known for portraying Matt Donovan on The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017), reprising the role in spin-offs The Originals (2016) and Legacies (2018). Other credits include Rings (2017) and The Last Full Measure (2019).
