Biography
Zach Shields is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He frequently collaborates with director Michael Dougherty, co-writing the screenplay for Krampus (2015) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), and contributing to the story for Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). He has also served as executive producer or consulting producer on several of these projects and related television work, including Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
Shields began his career with the short film The Most Beautiful Thing (2006). He is a member of the gothic rock duo Dead Man's Bones alongside actor Ryan Gosling.
