Biography
Zack Akers is a writer, producer and director. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2008 with degrees in film and television, and subsequently worked as a documentary producer for Flagstaff Films, with credits on HBO, ESPN, CBS and NBC.
Akers co-created the podcast Limetown with Skip Bronkie, which ran from 2015 to 2018 and was adapted into a television series in 2019; he also wrote the 2018 novel Limetown with Cote Smith. His screenwriting credits include the 2025 film Him, on which he also served as executive producer.
