Biography
Zafer Tawil is a composer and musician. He received a score credit for the film Rachel Getting Married (2008), directed by Jonathan Demme, alongside Donald Harrison Jr., and appeared in the film as a violinist.
A New York-based Palestinian musician, Tawil specialises in Arabic string instruments such as the oud and qanun, and Arabic percussion. His other credits include original music for Until When (2004) and contributions to I'm Carolyn Parker (2011) and A Master Builder (2013).
