Biography
Zara Meerza is an Indian-British writer, documentary filmmaker and producer. She holds degrees in Art History from the University of Manchester, University College London and the University of Cambridge. She has worked on projects for the BBC, Warp Films, Sky Arts, the BFI and VICE across film, television and documentary.
Meerza is a writer on the HBO series Industry (2020). She has directed the short film The Twins (2018) and developed projects including the pilot Yellow and the feature Marfa, TX. She previously served as Director of Film Acquisitions at VICE and as a producer on VICE News Tonight.
