Biography
Zdeněk Řehoř was a Czech actor. Born in Jičín in 1920, he began his stage career in small Prague theatres during the Second World War, later joining the Vinohrady Theatre in 1950 and remaining a member until his death.
He appeared in more than sixty films, usually in supporting roles, and in many television productions. His credits include Marketa Lazarová (1967), as Sovička, aide to the royal governor, and The Valley of the Bees (1968). He was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 1982 and the Senior Prix in 1993.
