Biography
Zhai Chunhua is a Chinese actor. Born on 23 April 1931 in Beijing, he joined a People's Liberation Army cultural troupe in 1949 and became an actor at the August First Film Studio in 1956. He is a member of the China Film Association.
He is known for his role as Hu Er in Zhang Yimou's Red Sorghum (1988). Other credits include Good Morning Beijing (1990), in which he played Ai's grandfather, Broken Moon (1984) and One and Eight (1983).
