Biography
Zhang Jingchu is a Chinese actress. She was born on 2 February 1980 in Fujian, China, and trained in directing at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing.
She first gained recognition for her role in Peacock (2005), which won the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. Subsequent credits include Seven Swords (2005), Protégé (2007), Rush Hour 3 (2007), John Rabe (2009), Aftershock (2010) and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015), in which she played Lauren. In 2005 she was named one of Time magazine’s “Asia’s Heroes”.
