Biography
Zoé Wittock is a Belgian director and screenwriter. She trained at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where she graduated at the top of her class and received the Hal and Robyn Berson scholarship for excellence in directing. She previously participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus and attended EICAR in Paris.
Her feature debut Jumbo (2020), which she also wrote, premiered at Sundance and screened at the Berlinale, where it won the AG Kino Gilde Prize in the Generation section. It received a nomination for the European Film Awards Discovery Prize. Wittock has directed episodes of the series Industry (2024). She is a member of the SRF (French association of film authors) and has campaigned for greater equality and the protection of authors’ rights in the industry.
