Biography
Aaron Guzikowski is an American screenwriter. He was raised in Brockton, Massachusetts, studied visual arts and completed an MFA in film, then wrote spec scripts while working other jobs in New York before securing representation in Los Angeles.
His screenplay for the thriller Prisoners (2013), directed by Denis Villeneuve, was written between 2007 and 2009, appeared on The Black List and was released after a period in development. He adapted the screenplay for Contraband (2012) and wrote the screenplay for Papillon (2017).
Guzikowski created the television series The Red Road (2014–2015) and Raised by Wolves (2020–2022).
