Biography
Adam Bakri is a Palestinian actor. He was born on 15 May 1988 in Jaffa and grew up in the village of Bi'ina. He is the son of actor and director Mohammad Bakri; his brothers Saleh Bakri and Ziad Bakri are also actors. After studying English literature and theatre arts at Tel Aviv University, he trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, where he has lived for many years.
Bakri made his feature film debut in the lead role of Omar (2013), directed by Hany Abu-Assad. He later appeared in Ali and Nino (2016) as Ali Khan Shirvanshir, Official Secrets (2019) as Yasar Gun, Accused (2023) as Samir Khalil, and All That's Left of You (2025) as Sharif. He has also worked in theatre since the age of 13.
