Biography
Adam Bolt is an American film editor, writer, producer and director. He edited and co-wrote the 2010 documentary Inside Job, directed by Charles Ferguson, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. For his work on the film he received the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Documentary Screenplay and an American Cinema Editors nomination for Best Edited Documentary.
Bolt served as senior producer, writer and editor on the Showtime series Years of Living Dangerously (2014), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award. His other editing credits include Park Avenue: Money, Power and the American Dream (2012) and The Recruiter (2008). He made his directorial debut with Human Nature (2019), which he also wrote and produced.
