Biography
Adam Etherington is a British cinematographer. Born in Cambridgeshire, England, he began his career in the camera department, progressing through roles as a runner, trainee and clapper loader before moving into lighting and photography.
He is known for his work on the television series Catastrophe (2015), Poldark (2015), A Discovery of Witches (2018–2021), Wedding Season (2022) and Paris Has Fallen (2024), as well as the feature films Gwen (2018) and Black Cab (2024). Etherington is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers. His credits also include The Seasoning House (2012), One of Us (2016) and The Last Dragonslayer (2016).
Etherington received a BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Photography and Lighting for Gwen.
