Biography
Adam Garcia is an Australian actor, singer and dancer. Born on 1 June 1973 in Wahroonga, New South Wales, he trained as a tap dancer at Capital Dance Studio in Sydney and attended Knox Grammar School. He briefly studied at the University of Sydney before leaving to perform in the musical Hot Shoe Shuffle, which toured Australia and transferred to London.
Garcia is known for lead roles in West End musicals including Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever (1998–2000), for which he received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical in 1999, and Kiss Me, Kate. His film credits include Jones in Wilde (1997), Kevin O'Donnell in Coyote Ugly (2000), Sean in Bootmen (2000) and Vaslav Nijinsky in Riot at the Rite (2005). He has also appeared in television series such as House and Genius.
