Biography
Adam I. Lapidus is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a production assistant on the sitcom Taxi at the age of sixteen, arranged through co-creator James L. Brooks. After graduating from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, he sold a pitch that led to his writing credit on the season four Simpsons episode "The Front" (1993).
Lapidus went on to write for Full House and numerous Disney Channel series, including Phil of the Future (2004), The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005), The Suite Life on Deck (2008), Jessie (2011), where he served as executive producer, and Bunk'd (2015). He later wrote and produced for the Netflix series Team Kaylie (2019). He is an assistant professor of film and television at Boston University.
