Biography
Adam Parton is an Australian animation director. He began working in the industry in the 1990s as an in-betweener at the Disney Toons Studio in Sydney on projects including The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride (1998) and Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996).
Parton moved to Los Angeles in 2013. He joined the production of BoJack Horseman (2014) as a character designer on the first season and later directed episodes across seasons 3, 5 and 6, as well as serving as animation director. He has also directed episodes of Tuca & Bertie (2019) and Velma (2023), and was supervising director on Captain Fall (2023). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his work.
