Biography
Adarsh Gourav, born Adarsh Gourav Bhagavatula on 8 July 1994 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, is an Indian actor who works in Hindi- and English-language films and television. He made his screen debut as the young Rizwan in My Name Is Khan (2010).
Gourav gained international recognition for his leading role as Balram Halwai in the Netflix film The White Tiger (2021), which earned him a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He has appeared in the series Hostel Daze (2019–2021), Extrapolations (2023), Guns & Gulaabs (2023) and Alien: Earth (2025) as Slightly, as well as the films Mom (2017), Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023) and Superboys of Malegaon (2024). He trained at The Drama School, Mumbai, and is also a singer and songwriter classically trained in Hindustani music.
