Biography
Adele T. Strassfield was an American television writer. While working as secretary to producer William Froug on the fifth and final season of The Twilight Zone (1959), she developed the story for the episode 'Caesar and Me', which aired on 10 April 1964. It is the only original episode of the series written by a woman.
She received a writing credit, co-authored with Robert Riordan, on the Gilligan's Island episode 'Nyet, Nyet, Not Yet' (1965) and wrote an episode of the anthology series Insight (1966). Earlier in her career she worked as an assistant to the producer on the film Attack (1956) and as assistant to director Robert Aldrich on The Garment Jungle (1957).
Strassfield was born on 28 May 1924 and died on 27 July 1977.
